Husbysjøen to Ylvingen

Today was a motoring day. When there was wind it was on the nose but that was rare. Perhaps the highlight was passing the mountain with a hole in it. Except we passed it from the wrong side, so we only saw a very tiny hole from very far away. We’ll have to remember to pass it on the right side on the return trip.

Then we went through the sound that is home to Brunøysund, another apparently bustling little town with a huge high bridge with blue and green pilons.

Our anchorage this evening was in a tight little bay with farms at the head and squadrons of greylag geese moving restlessly from one end to the other. Oystercatchers and common terns patrolled the cliff edges and an eagle cruised lazily by at one point. A pleasant spot to say the least.
